Briya Giveaway Promotion Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility:
The Briya Giveaway Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to all registered attendees of Becker’s Healthcare 14th Annual Meeting conference (“Conference”) in Chicago, April 8-10, 2024, held at the Hyatt Regency main conference hall. Briya employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Promotion Period:
The Promotion will run from Monday, April 8th, 2024, to Wednesday, April 10th, 2024. The drawing will take place at 3:00 pm local time, on that Wednesday, April 10, at Briya’s booth, number 508. Entries will be accepted until 11:00 pm on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024.
- Entry Requirements:
To enter the giveaway: Conference attendees must visit Briya’s booth, number 508, and engage in a brief conversation with a Briya representative or by engaging with a Briya representative in the conference area. After the interaction, participants will receive a tablet from one of Briya’s representatives and will answer a few questions and fill out their info at the end to complete their entry. Another way to enter the giveaway is by handing in a business card or presenting a badge to be scanned by the Briya team. Only one entry per person is allowed. Eligible entry is subject to the on-site Briya representative’s discretion.
- Prizes:
The first prize is a pair of “Beats” brand headphones. Approximate retail value: $150. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Winners must accept the prize as stated by the Sponsor, or the prize will be forfeited and will be donated for Briya’s choice of charity organization. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Federal, state, and local income and other taxes on the prize, if any, are solely the responsibility of the winner, regardless of whether the prize, in whole or in part, is used. Prize winners may be issued an IRS 1099 tax form for the retail value of the prize if it is over $600.
- Winner Selection:
The winners will be selected through a random drawing conducted between 1-2 pm on Wednesday, April 10 at Briya’s booth. Winners need not be present at the drawing to win. Briya will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners via the contact information provided at the time of entry. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Notification and Claiming Prizes:
Winners will be notified by email or phone within approximately 2 hours of the drawing. To claim their prize, winners must respond within 2 hours of the first attempted contact and arrive to the Briya booth until 5:30 pm at the same day and claim their prize after showing the message from Briya stating that they won. Failure to respond within this timeframe and not showing up to claim the prize by the abovementioned time on Wednesday will result in disqualification
- Publicity:
By entering the Promotion, participants grant Briya permission to use their names and contact info for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
- Compliance with Laws:
Promotion is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Release and Limitation of Liability:
By entering, participants release Briya, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion or the use of any prize.
- Modification or Termination:
If, for any reason, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned by any reason which, in the sole opinion of the Briya, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Briya reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and determine winner from entries received prior to action taken. Potentially winning entry is subject to verification at the sole discretion of Briya.
- Governing Law:
This Promotion is governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Winners List:
For the names of the winners, email a request to contact@briya.com with the following in the subject line: Winner List request, Briya Giveaway 2024 Becker’s Healthcare conference. Requests must be received by April 30, 2024.
