Welcome to Briya!
Briya Labs Ltd., with its affiliates and subsidiaries (“Briya”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) welcomes you to our website at Briya.com and any related webpages, forms, webinars, or events we may offer in connection with our marketing and support activities (collectively, the “Website”).
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we access, collect, use, store, and share information about you when you visit or interact with our Website. Please read it carefully.
This Policy applies to the Briya marketing website only. The Briya AIRE research platform (available at aire.briya.com) is governed by separate terms and privacy disclosures that apply to platform users.
This Policy covers:
- What information we collect about you
- How we use the information we collect
- How we share the information we collect
- How we store, retain, and secure your information
- How you can access and control your information
- International data transfers
- Other important privacy information
This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and our Cookie Settings. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory privacy rights or any available remedy under applicable law.
1. What Information Do We Collect?
Personal Data (also called Personally Identifiable Information, or “PII”) means information that identifies you or that could, with reasonable effort, be used to identify you, as defined by applicable laws.
We collect information in three ways: (i) when you actively provide it to us, (ii) automatically when you use the Website, and (iii) from third parties.
I. Information You Actively Provide
- Contact Details: Your full name, company, professional title, email address, and phone number when you submit a form on our Website, such as “Request a Demo,” “Sign Up,” “Partner with Us,” or “Contact Us.”
- Event & Meeting Requests: Information you provide when you register for or request a meeting at an event (for example, our “Meet Briya at HLTH Europe” sign-up).
- Marketing Preferences: Your preferences for receiving newsletters, webinars, event invitations, and other communications, including how you engage with them.
- Communications & Feedback: Comments, questions, and feedback you send us through the Website, by email, or at events we operate.
- Job Candidate Information: When you apply for a role, you are directed to our third-party recruitment platform (HiBob) where you submit your contact details and CV/resume. This information is used solely for our internal recruitment purposes.
II. Information Collected Automatically
When you browse and interact with the Website, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Usage Information: Pages viewed, links clicked, videos watched, session duration, and interaction patterns. Where we collect analytics, we use techniques that filter or scrub data to limit information that could identify you.
- Device & Connectivity Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, connection type and settings, device identifiers, and referring/exit URLs.
- Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We and our providers (including Google Tag Manager) use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Website, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. Manage these via our Cookie Settings.
III. Information We Receive from Third Parties
- Referrals: We may receive your name, company, and email when a contact refers you or when your employer invites you to one of our events.
- Third-Party Service Providers: Subject to applicable law, we may receive professional information (such as job title, company, email, or phone) from marketing, advertising, business-information, and social media providers, to advertise our services and personalize communications.
We may combine information from these sources to update and improve our records, identify potential customers, and suggest services that may interest you.
2. How We Use the Information We Collect
How we use your information depends on how you interact with us and the preferences you have communicated. Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA), we must have a legal basis to process Personal Data. We rely on the following:
I. To Perform Our Contract with You
We process Personal Data as necessary to operate the Website under our Terms and Conditions, including to:
- Operate, customize, and improve the Website and your experience
- Collect data for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and debugging
- Monitor performance, reliability, and efficiency, and test new features
- Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents, fraud, or illegal activity
- Respond to your demo requests, support requests, and other messages
II. With Your Consent
Where required, we process Personal Data based on your consent, including to:
- Send marketing and promotional communications, newsletters, and event invitations, and display Briya ads on other companies’ websites and apps
- Publish customer case studies and testimonials featuring your name or company
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already occurred.
III. To Comply with a Legal Obligation
We may process and disclose Personal Data where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental or law enforcement request.
IV. To Protect Vital Interests
In exceptional circumstances, we may use Personal Data to protect you or another person from harm, illegal activity, or an emergency.
V. Legitimate Interests
We rely on our legitimate interests (where not overridden by your rights) to:
- Use information in connection with legal claims, compliance, regulatory, audit, and law enforcement functions, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business
- Enforce our agreements and terms, and protect the security and integrity of the Website
- Analyze usage with anonymized or aggregated data
We may anonymize and aggregate information so that it can no longer identify you. We may use and disclose such anonymized information without restriction.
3. How We Share Your Information
Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers who help us operate, host, maintain, analyze, and market the Website. They may access your information only as needed to perform services on our behalf, under our instructions and appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. Categories of service providers include hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics and tracking providers, marketing and communications providers, and recruitment providers.

Our Website may link to external sites whose privacy practices differ from ours. We are not responsible for those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting information.
Third-Party Widgets & Social Features
Our Website includes social media features and links (such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter). These may collect your IP address and the page you are visiting, and may set cookies. They are governed by the respective third parties’ privacy policies.
With Your Consent
We share information with third parties when you give us consent – for example, when we publish your name alongside a testimonial.
Affiliated Companies
We may share information with Briya’s corporate affiliates to operate and improve the Website and to offer other Briya services to you. The protections in this Policy apply to such sharing.
Business Transfers
If Briya is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Website and inform you of any choices you may have.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We carefully validate such requests before disclosing any Personal Data.
4. How We Store, Secure, and Retain Your Information
Hosting & Security
Our Website and the information we collect are hosted by third-party infrastructure providers located in the United States. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect the information we store, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee against unauthorized access resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Data Retention
How long we keep information depends on its type. After the applicable period, we delete or de-identify it.
- Marketing Data: Retained for a reasonable period from the date you last engaged with our communications or submitted a form.
- Cookie & Tracking Data: Retained for a reasonable period from when it was created (see Cookie Settings).
- Job Candidate Data: Retained so we can consider you for future opportunities and, if hired, for employment-related purposes.
We may retain data longer where required for legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting purposes, to maintain accurate records, or where we reasonably believe litigation may arise. We maintain an internal data retention policy to avoid retaining Personal Data indefinitely.
